Unique hair comb sustainably with Scottish Sea Glass wired together on a silver tone metal comb.
Handmade with pieces of found sea glass. It's a soft Eau de Nil colour, a very pale bluey green, each fragment of glass is a different shape and the colours vary across the design.
It is perfect to wear in an up-do, to add a touch of colour, texture and interest, and is totally unique.
The comb is 4.5cm long and has 12 prongs, overall measurements from tip to tip including the sea glass is 9.5cm long x 6cm high.
The sea glass has been hand picked from the beaches local to me here in South Ayrshire. I regularly go beachcombing on different beaches and am careful to only ever pick up a handful at a time. It is then washed and sorted ready to be recycled into something new.
All my pieces are totally unique and hand made by myself to my own designs. I use vintage and recycled materials as much as possible. If you would like something similar, but in a different colour or size, please get in touch.
It will be carefully packed in tissue paper in a branded presentation box. For shipping I re-use bubble wrap and packaging, and all my new tissue paper and boxes are made from recycled materials.
